This page explains which cookies the Coast FIRE Calculator uses and how you can control them.
A consent-preference cookie records whether you accepted, rejected, or customized analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every visit. This cookie is set by our consent banner and is required for the banner to work.
When you accept analytics cookies, we use self-hosted Umami and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. These cookies are only set after you accept, and they measure page views — never your calculator inputs.
Use the banner controls (Accept All, Reject All, Customize) to change your choice at any time. Rejecting analytics cookies does not disable the calculator; the tool works fully without them.
Our analytics are provided by our own Umami installation and by Google Analytics. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google applies its own cookie and privacy policies to that sign-in flow.
